RVA Minutes from business Meeting
March 07, 2011
Meeting called to order at 6:20 pm.
Invocation given by Joe.
REPORTS
Secretary: minutes from last meeting were read and correction made.
(correction –using scorecard from the first day of shoot).
Treasurer: Diane gave her report.
• Starting balance $3,021.08
• Inco awards for the end of Winter League..
OBH Report: Mike Kotrba gave a brief report in the absence of Mike B.
• It was decided to continue biding on the event.
• The prices from the Ashland club were reported.
• We will plan to hold the event in July. If that works with thef events.
Club Shirts:
• Melanie reminded us that she has a business making shirts and offered the
club a good cost. There will be an $60.00 initial fee for set-up and cost for the
shirts..
• Pat Hamilton will provide the “Print ready Logo” to Melanie.
NEW BUSINESS
Purchase of bales:
• Much discussion ensued and it was decided that ‘Celsius-type bales’ seem
to do the best job for us.
• Bob Kurilow volunteered to do some research into the purchase costs and
availability .
• Mike K. suggested that we allocate monies from the events for purchase of
bales in the future. No vote was taken at this time.
Food at our events:
• Much discussion about the preparation and serving of food at out events.
• Bob Kurilow suggested that we look for a vender to help with this. He offered
to make some inquiries.
Spring Fling flyer:
• Some changes to the flyer were suggested
• Pat will make the changes and send files to Lisa and Mike for printing.
